Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative, who is fluent in English. Your exciting day begins with breakfast at the hotel. After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, it will be time to check out. Our representative will be there to meet you and provide a transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor.

Upon arrival at Luxor airport, you will be transferred to the West Bank of Luxor to commence your magical tour of Thebes, the sacred land. The first stop is the Valley of the Kings, which served as the royal cemetery for the ancient Egyptian pharaohs and rulers. You will have the opportunity to enter the tomb of King Tutankhamun and explore this historic site.

Next, you will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, an architectural marvel carved into the mountain. This temple stands as a remarkable example of ancient Egyptian architecture.

Concluding the West Bank tour, you will visit the Colossi of Memnon, which are statues belonging to King Amenhotep III. A satisfying lunch will be provided at a local restaurant.

Moving on to the East Bank of Luxor, you will discover the awe-inspiring Karnak Temples Complex. These monumental structures are the largest ever built in the history of mankind. Abydos Temple is renowned for its impressive architecture and remarkable art reliefs, including the Abydos Kings list, which showcases the names of the pharaohs from the First dynasty to the 19th dynasty. Within the temple, you will also find seven chapels dedicated to Horus, Isis, Osiris, Amun Re, Ptah, Seti I, and Re-Horakhty. At the rear of the temple, you will discover the enigmatic Osireion, believed to be the tomb of Osiris. After the guided tour, you will have free time to further explore the temple at your own pace.

Next, you will visit the Dendera Temple, located 99km to the south of Abydos. This temple complex is exceptionally well-preserved and dates back to the reign of Pharaoh Pepi I (2250 BC) but saw further additions during the New Kingdom (1550-1080 BC) and the Greco-Roman period in Egypt. One of the highlights of Dendera Temple is its recently cleaned ceiling, which revealed vibrant and colorful paintings from antiquity in the main hall of the Hathor temple. You will have the opportunity to admire the famous Dendera zodiac relief, discovered during the Greco-Roman period, as well as explore the crypts, which housed cult equipment, archives, and magical emblems for the temple's protection. Other noteworthy features include the Isis Birth House (Mammisi) built by Nectanebo II and the temple's sacred lake. On the rear outside wall of the temple, you will find captivating scenes depicting the imposing figure of Cleopatra VII and her son, Caesarion. After the guided tour, you will have free time to further explore the temple.

At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor for an overnight stay.

Day 6

In the early morning, the licensed tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. You will be transferred by a private air-conditioned vehicle to the West Bank of the Nile to begin your fascinating day of exploration.

The first stop is Medinat Habu, an archaeological site located near the foot of the Theban Hills on the West Bank of the River Nile, opposite the modern city of Luxor. The main attraction here is the Mortuary Temple of Ramesses III, which is remarkably well-preserved. The temple follows a traditional design and resembles the mortuary temple of Ramesses II, known as the Ramesseum. The temple is surrounded by a massive mud-brick enclosure, possibly fortified, with its original entrance through a fortified gatehouse called a middle. Inside the temple complex, you will have the opportunity to visit other temples, including the Temple of Amun dating back to the 18th Dynasty, built by Queen Hatshepsut and Thutmose III.

Continuing your day tour, you will visit Deir el-Medina, also known as the Valley of the Workers. This ancient Egyptian village was home to the artisans who worked on the tombs in the Valley of the Kings during the 18th to 20th dynasties of the New Kingdom period. The well-preserved paintings in Deir el-Medina will amaze you with their freshness.

To conclude the day, you will visit the Valley of the Queens, where the wives of the pharaohs were buried in ancient times. This valley was also the resting place for many princes, princesses, and nobility members. The tombs in this valley were maintained by mortuary priests who performed daily rituals, offered prayers, and provided offerings for the deceased. The Valley of the Queens is located near the more famous Valley of the Kings on the west bank of the Nile, across from Thebes (modern Luxor).

A delicious lunch will be served at a local restaurant, after which you will be transferred back to your hotel.

In the afternoon, you will embark on a tour of the Luxor Museum and the Mummification Museum. The Luxor Museum is located between Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple, displaying a captivating collection of jewelry, furniture, statues, stelae, and pottery from the Theban Temples and the necropolis, primarily from the New Kingdom.

Continuing your journey through ancient Egyptian history, you will visit the Mummification Museum, which provides insights into the mummification process and techniques used for both humans and animals. After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, it will be time to check out. Our tour guide will pick you up to embark on a day tour to explore the remarkable temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo.

First, you will visit the Temple of Edfu, a majestic structure dedicated to the god Horus. This temple is widely regarded as one of the best-preserved cult temples in Egypt. According to Egyptian mythology, it is believed to be the place where the falcon-headed god Horus avenged the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth. Prepare to be awed by the intricate carvings and stunning architecture of this ancient temple.

Next, you will drive to the city of Kom Ombo and visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, situated on high grounds overlooking the Nile. This temple stands out from others due to its unique feature of having a double entrance. One entrance is dedicated to the falcon-headed deity Haroeris, while the other is dedicated to the crocodile-headed deity Sobek. The Temple of Kom Ombo was built to honor these two deities. Discover the fascinating history and significance of this temple, as well as the presence of a huge sugar-cane plantation in the area.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, our tour guide will pick you up to begin your day tour in Aswan. The first stop is the High Dam of Aswan, an impressive engineering feat constructed in the 1960s. This remarkable dam, containing a greater amount of material than the Great Pyramid of Cheops, spans 11,811 feet in length, is 3,215 feet thick at the base, and stands 364 feet tall. It provides irrigation and electricity for the entire country of Egypt. Marvel at the magnitude of this structure and learn about its significance.

Continuing your tour, you will visit the granite quarries of Aswan, where the ancient Egyptians sourced much of their red granite used in temples and colossal statues. Here, you will see the Unfinished Obelisk, which remains in its original location where it was being carved until a crack was discovered. Gain insights into the techniques and processes involved in ancient Egyptian quarrying.

Next, you will proceed to the majestic Philae Temple. Due to the construction of the High Dam, the temple was carefully relocated to its current location, approximately 500 meters from its original site. Philae Temple was built to honor the goddess Isis, the chief deity of the island. Explore the temple complex and admire its beautiful architecture and carvings.

After the tour, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Aswan.

Enjoy a breakfast box provided by your hotel and proceed to check out. You will then be transferred by a private air-conditioned van to Abu Simbel. The original site, known as Meha in ancient times, was first documented during the 18th Dynasty when Ay and Horemheb had rock-cut chapels carved in the southern hills.

Upon arrival at Abu Simbel, you will visit the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, which were built by King Ramses II. The first temple, the larger of the two, is dedicated to the renowned god Rahorakhty. The second temple, the smaller one, was dedicated to King Ramses II himself and his beloved wife Queen Nefertari.

After concluding your day tour, you will be driven to Aswan Airport to catch your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, our representative will be there to meet you and transfer you to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Your exploration of Alexandria begins with a visit to the renowned Alexandria Library, which served as one of the primary centers of knowledge in the ancient world. The library is situated on the original site of the old Pharaoh and holds great historical and cultural significance. Immerse yourself in the rich history and vast collection of this remarkable institution.

Next, you will be transferred to a local restaurant for a delightful lunch.

After lunch, your tour continues with a visit to the Roman Amphitheatre, an iconic monument dating back to the Greco-Roman period. This amphitheater holds historical and architectural importance and provides insight into the grandeur of the ancient city.

Indulge in a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Afterward, you will join your expert Egyptology guide for an exciting exploration of Dahshur. Dahshur is home to two remarkable pyramids, the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid, both constructed during the reign of King Sneferu (2613-2589 BC). These pyramids showcase the evolution of pyramid construction techniques. Additionally, Dahshur boasts other monuments from the 12th and 13th dynasties, such as the White Pyramid of Amenemhet II, the Black Pyramid of Amenemhet III, and the Pyramid of Senusret III. You will also have the opportunity to visit the tombs of nobles and officials from different eras. Following the site visit, you will enjoy a delectable local lunch served at an amazing outdoor restaurant surrounded by palm trees.

Next, you will travel to the Meidum Pyramid, located 65km south of Saqqara. This pyramid holds a special allure and continues to keep many secrets. You will start by visiting the Ahmed Ibn Tulun Mosque, which holds the distinction of being the oldest intact and functioning Islamic monument in Cairo. This mosque is a rare example of classical Islamic architecture from the ninth and tenth centuries, representing the era's dominant style and design.

Next, you will proceed to the Mosque of Sultan Hassan, renowned for its compact and unified architectural style. Constructed in 1256 AD by Sultan Hassan bin Mohammad bin Qala'oun, the mosque served as both a place of worship and a religious school for various sects.

    I am 6 feet tall and 220 lbs. This shirt fit me perfectly in the chest and shoulders. My only complaint is that it is so long! I like to wear polo shirts untucked. This shirt goes completely past my rear end. If I wore it with ordinary shorts, you probably wouldnt be able to see the shorts at all – completely hidden by the shirt. It needs to be 4 to 5 inches shorter in terms of length to suit me. I have many RL polo shirts, and this one is by far the longest. I dont understand why.
