Today's journey takes us to Kamloops, British Columbia, a picturesque city where the majestic North and South Thompson Rivers converge. Kamloops is blessed with breathtaking scenery and offers exceptional opportunities for wildlife viewing. The Thomson River Valley is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including cougars, bears, elk, and more. Along the way, we'll make a delightful stop at Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park, where we can enjoy a short walk and a peaceful picnic. The park is nestled in a landscape characterized by gentle, lush mountains and expansive low-lying valleys. One of the park's highlights is Bridal Veil Falls, a magnificent waterfall cascading 197 feet down a smooth rock face, creating a mesmerizing "veil-like" effect.

The name "Yoho" originates from the Cree word that signifies a sense of awe and wonder, and it doesn't take long to understand why. Prepare to be amazed as we explore the trails surrounding the breathtaking Emerald Lake, where you can take a leisurely stroll along its shores or simply unwind at the lakeside café while reveling in the magnificent views. In the afternoon, we will embark on a scenic drive across the Kicking Horse Pass, traversing the Continental Divide and entering the province of Alberta. Along the way, we will be treated to panoramic vistas of towering peaks, some exceeding an elevation of 10,000 feet (3.05 km), particularly at Rogers Pass, located within Canada's Glacier National Park. Finally, we will arrive at our overnight destination, Banff, a vibrant mountain town renowned for its lively nightlife, charming alpine ambiance, and a plethora of cafés and restaurants to satisfy your culinary cravings.

Lake Louise is a picturesque alpine lake renowned for its mesmerizing turquoise waters, which are fed by glaciers and surrounded by towering peaks. A magnificent château overlooks the lake, adding to its grandeur. Numerous hiking trails await, leading adventurers to the Lake Agnes Tea House, where you can savor panoramic views of the lake from a bird's-eye perspective. For a more challenging hike, set out on a trek to the Plain-of-Six-Glaciers, or opt for a leisurely exploration of the lake's serene shoreline. If you prefer a different experience, you can choose to embark on a canoeing adventure on the pristine waters of the lake. In the afternoon, we will visit Moraine Lake, located in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, situated at an elevation of approximately 6,183 feet (1.88 km). This awe-inspiring location offers an ideal backdrop for capturing epic photographs that will surely leave you in awe.

Take this morning to relish the wonders of Jasper, the largest national park in Canada. Immerse yourself in the splendor of this untamed mountain wilderness, adorned with snow-capped summits and enchanting lakes. Jasper showcases an abundance of wildlife, awe-inspiring mountain peaks, pristine alpine lakes, and a multitude of opportunities for hiking and biking adventures. After a fulfilling day of activities, we will continue our journey along the Yellowhead Highway, closely following the majestic North Thompson River. Our overnight stop will be in Clearwater, British Columbia. Along the way, be sure to keep an eye out for the base of Mount Robson, towering at an impressive height of 12,972 feet, marking the highest point in the Canadian Rockies. With a stroke of luck, you might even catch a glimpse of the famed peak, adding an extra touch of grandeur to our adventure.

Our next destination is the picturesque alpine resort of Whistler, nestled at the foot of the magnificent Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.
